Traveloka - Flight and hotel booking made easy

*sponsored

Hi again, everybody~
Today, I'm going to introduce another travel website, Traveloka Malaysia.
This is a pretty new travel website that has everything you are looking for including flights and accommodations.

****************

Traveloka is one of the leading flight and hotel booking platforms in Southeast Asia, serving more than 100,000+ flight routes and 100,00+ hotels worldwide. They provide the cheapest hotel and flight rates everyday! Isn't that what we need?!

They have a wide range of hotels and promotions with NO BOOKING FEES and the BEST PRICE GUARANTEED! Their Customer Service team is ready to assist you 24/7 which is efficient right?! Especially when we like to make our bookings during odd hours.

Look out for their promotion which will help you to save even more $$$$!

****************

I'm planning for a Kuala Lumpur year end trip. It seemed like a thing nowadays ever since the sponsoring of the recent KL 2017 (29th SEA Games and 9th ASEAN Para Games).

Hence, this just come in time for me to do some homework and exploration of the site. At the same time, listing some of the places you may visit in KL!

And I came across this hotel which have good ratings, having nearby attractions and at an affordable rate.

Looks pretty relaxing and modern isn't it.

So, if you are staying at KIP hotel too, you're in for a real treat because there are a whole lot of fun stuff you can do near this 4-Star hotel.

*****************

If this is your first time to Kuala Lumpur, I would suggest you to visit some of the Iconic sights.

1. Petronas Twin Towers

Address: Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Opening hours: Tues to Sun 9am to 9pm. Closed on Mondays.

Who doesn't know the iconic twin towers, right? This is like the identity of Malaysia. Tourists from all over the world will take their chance in checking out this place.  Fun facts about Petronas Twin Tower: It was once marked as the tallest building in the world from 1998 till 2004 and remained the tallest twin towers in the world. t stands at 1,483 ft. and consist of 88 floors. These 88-story towers bear a modern Islamic design and a visitor sky bridge. You can access the bridge that connects the two towers. The experience might be traumatic for those who have fear for heights though. Totally different feel visiting them in the day and night.

2.  Kuala Lumpur Tower
Address: Jalan P Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Opening hours: 9am to 10pm daily

Before there was the Petronas Twin Towers, there was the KL Tower. This tower is the epiphany of greatness and identity for Malaysia. It was the pioneer of a revolving restaurant where you will have a first class view of entire Kuala Lumpur. Fun fact: KL Tower is the 7th tallest freestanding tower in the world.

3. Batu Caves
Address: Gombak, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia
Opening hours: 6am to 9pm daily

It is also one of the iconic religion landmark in Malaysia. Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia. This is the most popular Hindu Shrines outside of India and the main point for Thaipusam festival in Malaysia.
Fun facts about Batu Caves: There are 272 steps leading up to the entrance of the cave. There is a 140ft statue of Hanuman covered in golden. It is definitely a good place to check out.

4. Breakout Real Escape Game
Address: Avenue K, Jalan Ampang, Kampung Baru, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Opening hours: 10am to 10pm daily

After some sight-seeing, it's time for some GAMES!
For those who are not familiar with the concept, it is basically like SAW with a lot less blood, killings/decapitations and a twisted clown freak on a tricycle threatening you through a television screen. The Breakout Real Escape Game is 8.7km away from the hotel in the Avenue K Shopping Mall. Avenue K is rather close by the KLCC, opposite of Suria KLCC. Here in Breakout, you will be able to choose the rooms you want as each has their own storyline and difficulty level. Anyway, it's definitely worth a try!

5. Verticale
Address: 2-105, Jalan Prima SG 3/2, Prima Seri Gombak, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia
Opening hours: Mon to Fri, 12 to 8pm, Sat 11am to 6pm, Closed on Sun

Up for some outdoor sports? If you are the adventurous type, you would probably like this one. This involves height, dangling, climbing and so much more! Verticale is the closest to KIP Hotel, just less than a kilometer away. This rock climbing company will provide you with the best adrenalin rock climbing experiences. They also have a family package for kids as young as 5 years old to enjoy some climbing. The minimum size for this activity is 3 pax. They have climbing gear all set up for you and the guides are good at what they do. Based on the reviews, this is one pretty good spot for some outdoor adventure activity.

 6. Café hops
Of course not to forget to fill your stomach with pretty and good food!

Namoo Korean Dessert Café n Bistro on the Park
Address: Solaris Dutamas, 1, Jalan Dutamas 1, Solaris Dutamas, 50480 Jalan Dutamas 1, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

For more info: https://www.facebook.com/RestaurantGuodin/

Very often, Le Hubby, Me and Val will make a trip back to JB to spend some family time with Le Hubby's family. So whenever we are around, we will try to dine out and treat all of us to a little good food.

So this time round, the "Lims" are dining at 锅鼎 Guo Din Restaurant.

Simple, Spacious and even air-conditioned!

Dry Pot Chicken 干锅鸡
RM74 (L),
RM56 (M),
RM38 (S)
We ordered the Medium size.
The chicken was very flavourful and tasty.
It was a little on the spicy side though but it goes very well with a bowl of white rice!

Need any help or services? Just a button away!

Happy Food makes Happy customer!

Pumpkin Porridge 香甜金瓜粥
RM42 (Suitable for 1 - 2 pax)

It was creamy and sweet.
A creative way of cooking a porridge! I shall try to make this at home the next time.
Generous portion of ingredients in it too!
Little Val loves it too!

Claypot Herbal Chicken 砂锅药材鸡
RM 45 (Suitable for 1 - 2 pax)

Time to nourish and rejuvenate thyself.
No better time than to start now!

Help yourself with the sauce~ Mix them or have them as it is!
A little like how Haidilao is doing but this is a simplified version.
Still, the idea is there. Well done!

Munching the corn~

A shot with the Chef and Owner of the Restaurant!
We told them how much we enjoyed the food. Very homely and heart-warming.

Overall, I enjoyed their food and service.
Nice customer service and a variety of hot pot to choose from at an affordable price.
Hot pots are especially good for cold rainy weather~
I would rate it a 7/10.
